Richard Marx Drums

I am listening to Nsyncs this I promise you and I really like how his drums are punchy but not overly agressive especially the kick drums and his snares are good and crisp. I am curious what can I do to make my drums sound more like his on this song. My songs can be found at www.myspace.com/djkevwest Also what does he use to mix his drums? Im sure he probabaly has live players but I am going to try to get a similar sound with my samples I have. I feel I have good drum sounds but lack the knowledge on mixing drums to get them to tight and punchy like his does. Please help
