| Gear addict | New Kel Microphone I keep hearing how neat these Kel microphones are, so the other day I was in the mood to maybe make a small purchase so I check out their website. They had this new mic on that was like a sdc body with a larger diaphram. It looked similiar to the Audix scx or something. They had an introductory price of $100. I thought id pick up a pair as another set of over heads for fun. I go to the website today and they are gone. No mention of them anywhere. Does anyone know the deal, or have already purchased these mics. I know alot of manufacturers check this website so does anyone from Kel audio post here? Whats the deal? |

| Gear addict | Oh man i feel stupid, i found the link on their website. Looks like it was infringing on someone else's design. Maybe someone from Kel can stop by and give us some insight as to what the 2 new designs they talked about are on the website. |

| What happened to the HM-4? It's no longer there. I have the HM-1 and love it. Was seriously considering the HM-4. Is that the new mic you're talking about? I can't find any info on the website. |

| Well, that just saved me 200 bucks... ![]() I think the new one was the HM-2 - as was mentioned it looked a lot like the Audix. That's probably the conflict - too bad! |

| Having given the sound clips a listen, the HM2 seems to be going after a 421 sound more so than a 57. |

| I'm impressed. If my hm-1 (on their way to me) gives me half its money's worth I'll pick one of these up for sure |

| I dig their clip of the hm-2 on guitar. Sounds like it might be interesting to mix it with a 57 on the same cab (according to their clips anyways...). |
