Fire Wire Midi Interfaces or MidiSport?

Here's my problem my interface I 'm using now has one midi interface and that's going in...

But I have other devices such as a emu midi controller, mpd16 and soon to get a mv8800 and I want them to be hooked up into the computer with going thru eachother

I would get the Midisport but it doesn't have a firewire port, and I need that

if you have suggestion please make them the device have firewire ports because that is what I need

and i would at least 4 midi ins and outs

ESI Pro used to make a firewire MIDI interface, but seems it's discontinued. I know of no other firewire MIDI interfaces.

Try to expand the number of USB ports on your computer with a PCI USB controller. If you're on a laptop, a hub is all you can try...

thanks but that's not what I was looking for... I'm just going to have to get the midisport

my problem is that I need an midi interface to hook up more than one device to the computer thru midi, and I wanted to kno if there is one that is Firewire rather than USB

be aware that there are no Vista drivers for the midisport and the current PC drivers are about 4 years old.

the motu stuff all has vista and 64bit drivers already.

I've been using the MidiSport 4x4 for a few years here on OSX.
Very solid, never any problem.
