Thread Starter | Finishing touches!
Just finished treating my new room, a big thank you must go out to Joel and Scott @ Ready Acoustics for the great service and all the help, top guys and top product, very happy with the results!!! Anyway, my problem is the ceiling. It's 100 year old ornate piece, very nice, but very frigile. Even using a hand drill and wood drill bits it was spider cracking. So was not able to hang the traps to ceiling as planned. So i've decided that all though not the best option, foam is the way to go for the ceiling. That way i can jusy tack or glue lightly and save myself the trouble of re-plastering and keeping my wife happy!!! So i need something nice and thick as an alternative. Other then Auralex, are there any other companies you guys can recommend? I know about Prima acoustics. Any Aussie slutz know of any Australian companies, found a couple, but there was no performance data on the web sites, and i'm not going to buy blind, so to speak. Any other advice or ideas on solving the problem would be much appreciated... Many thanks in advance
