will this work?

hi all!

i have a question. my band is getting ready to record at my drum teacher's house. he has a digi 002, a bunch of good mics.... better stuff than me basically

anyways, i want to do the mixing and editing, to save money and get some skills... is it possible to record in protools, and then just export all of the tracks so that i can take them home and edit in cubase?

thanks
Damian

Yes, you can do that.

You need to make sure ALL of the tracks have the same start time, then you can drop them into any DAW at the same point and work with them.

I wind up having to do this a lot.

Have fun!
