Pro tools LE and BFD - need some help

So I recently switch to PT LE from Sonar PE; which, overall I am happy about

I work in and out of a commercial facility where I bring synth tracks, etc.

Now, I need to have all the BFD tracks (snare, bass, overheads, etc. etc.) seperated into seperate WAV files so I can bring them over to the studio.

I set up a bunch of aux tracks (thanks Max) which allows me to select whatever BFD out I want for the input; however, how do I turn these tracks into WAV's?

Unfortunately the place I work does not have BFD so the MIDI file alone will not cut it.

Thanks

Instead of AUX tracks, use AUDIO. Select the BFD out in the same manner as you did with the AUX tracks. Then, simply arm those tracks to RECORD and do it, and you're done. Then just grab those files in the region list and export. Alternatively, you could keep all your AUX tracks as they are, and just route them to an AUDIO track and record that.

I have a question on this type of thing too. When you send the BFD outputs to audio tracks (using BFD All) why is it there is no overhead tracks to choose from? There are cymbal outputs, but why not a left and right OH output?

When you use BFD as an RTAS (as opposed to using it as a ReWire device in PTLE) the overheads default to the stereo instrument track. You can assign anything else anywhere else.

So the OH channels play on the Instrument track right? But how do I record them to their own audio file, because the Instrument track contains the midi data, and can't record the audio from the OH tracks.

An instrument track is nothing but an Aux track and a MIDI track combined, so it has all the routing capabilities of an Aux track.

You can set up a stereo send out of the Instrument track and use that same send for the input of an audio track, then record arm the audio track to record the O/H output as audio.
