| Options with Layla 3G... I recently bought an Echo Layla 3G and I want to know if there are any other options for monitoring? I currently have my monitors directly connected to the analog 1&2 outs. I record vocals in the same room I monitor from, so I'm looking for a better way to route a headphone mix. Using the headphone out isnt an option because when I mute the 1&2 outs for the monitors, I loose the headphone signal as well. Can I output from 1&2 and 3&4 at the same time? I can't figure this out. I thought about using "Y" splitters but I'm still going to have a issue when muting the monitors... I really don't want to spend $400 on a Presonus Cental Station... What can I do? |

| Theres a couple things you can do. you can create a headphone mix and send that to 3/4 and mute 1/2 in you sequencer program. Or you can just turn your volume down on your montors or leave them off. CJ

| I have a Layla 24 - all I do is send the headphone out of the Layla to the input of a 6 output headphone amp that's right under it in the rack, and I have a kill switch for my monitors which are connected to the 1&2 outs of the Layla. Couldn't be any simpler. |
