Anybody bought acoustic panels from these guys?

http://www.atsacoustics.com/

Was wondering if the company is OK to deal with and if the panels are good. They are priced really attractively.

Just keep in mind that those do not absorb much bass at all. Might be ok for first reflections in the room.

ATS

Hey Glenn:

I really appreciate you posting. I'll probably buy stuff from you or Ethan on that basis alone. Actually the plan was two Tri Traps behind the speakers (maybe fill the other corners later on) and some of those ATS's for side walls.

That being said, why do you think they don't absorb much bass? Aren't they bassed on 4" 703? If that stradles a corner isn't it pretty good on the bass?

Those are built with a solid wood back on them, a big tutt with bass traps for corners. Just take a look at there numbers and it will tell the story. I must take my hat off to ATS, they do say that on there site. I did read it at one time.

wood backs

Glenn:

They do sell a version sans wood back. Anyway, like I said TriTraps are in the plans and I really appreciate your presence on the board.
