| hooking up an apogee AD16 to my 002R? Ok this is probably a stupid question which I think I know the answer to but I'm thinking of buying an old AD16 to use with my 002R but I notice on the rear of the AD16 it has four ADAT outputs, 1-8 divided into 1-4 an 1-8 and 9-16 divided from 9-12 and 13-16... but on my 002R I only have ADAT in and out, any one have any experience of this setup and how it works? cheers |

| SMUX I/O These separate outputs are for SMUX. As you know, ADAT is only capable of clock rates up to 48k. So, SMUX(1) will allow clock rates up to 96k. So if you want to record at say 88.2 or 96k just make sure the dip-switches are set correctly for SMUX and your good. peace mixwell Download the manual for the full layout of how it works.
