TC M350 as an AD Converter

Just got a TC M350, a nice inexpensive FX unit, well, i have to say that i've been very please with the results when using it as a converter, i think i prefer it over the RME Multiface converters on a mix, a much closer reproduction of my analog console..
Since most of the low end audiocard have worst converters than RME this could be a nice inexpansive way to get a decent AD converter and a very good FX unit too!
(the manual reports the way to use it ah a converter)

Thanks for the comments! I've been thinking about picking one of these up, with that exact use in mind.

Does that unit have some sort of software that lets you control it from within a DAW (like, say, Logic)? I seem to remember reading something about this.

Happy tracking!

tc c300

hello i have a firepod and got a tc c300 compressor as a live compressor for vocals for which it really shines on by the way. but i needed more inputs so i was happily able to connect the spdif from the c300 to my firepod and changed the firepod sync to 'external' , to sync it to the c300's clock. It defaulst to 48k that way. i just did a drum session with 10 inputs into the firepod no problem. i have not done conversion tests between the two yet but using the tc units as an extra stereo pair of conversion using spdif works great. i just have to set the mix knob on bypass so the compressor itself doesn't affect the sound.
cheers
