How to remove vibrations on the floor

Hi all,
I've bought a Roland TD12 virtual drum to play in an apartment. I've a few problems with vibrations on the floor that cause low frequencies be sent on the apartments downstairs. Anyone can tell me how to absorb these vibrations in an inexpensive way. I've used carpets but they seem to be very little useful. Anyone can give me an advice on any materials to put below the drum stand to avoid vibrations?
Thank you in advance

As discussed previously on gs:
Building a Drum Platform

and here:

All referencing below link:

There are several variations of the theme if you google "tennis ball drum platform."
Hopefully, I'll be constructing one of these within the next 6 months or sooner (depending on a potential move).

That's the idea.

You need to build a platform (hopefully a fairly heavy top to it). Then, you need to de-couple it from the floor with something like tennis balls, rifle recoil pads or a box-spring.

Some companies sell pre-built ones made with foam....
