Thread Starter | How to send a track out of the DAW and through an amp? I have the Joe Meek 3q. I was wondering how I could send out a vocal take out of the DAW and into my pedal board and then into my guitar amp. I would track it back in through my Audix I5. I don't think I would need a DI for this task would i? I am using Cubase SX3.

| Your impeadances from your DAW to the pedal board would be mismatched. The way you describe, you would be sending a line level signal to an instrument level input on your pedal board. Remember your pedal board is looking for "guitar/intrsument" level signals. So you'd need to use a Re-amp device. Or a passive DI reversed. Here's the signal chain that should work for you: DAW > DI out - DI In > Pedalboard > Amp > Mic > Joe Meek > DAW I think a reamp search will give you all the info you need. Hope this helps. |
