cheap places to buy gear online

seeing as how this is low end theory, i thought we could start a thread listing some of our favorite places to buy cheap gear (including cables, adapters and accessories) online.
i'll start with one of my favorite ebay sellers, danaco. it is a great go-to store for connectors and adapters. i've never had problems with the quality of their stuff, it's some of the cheapest i've seen on ebay (really reasonable shipping rates), and the shipping is lightning fast.
anybody else found some good bargains?

daddys.com

daddy's junky music is a local New England and Upstate NY chain. They take in a lotta used gear, and post it online. It usually takes them a few days to put the gear you get online onto a truck to their shipping center before senfing it out to you.

Their website is kind of low tech, but they're starting to add photos...

You mean Front End Audio, don't you?? I must say that Warren is a great guy. I have bought a lot of stuff from him and always get the feeling he is selling me on quality and not how much PROFIT he will make. The best part is most of the gear he sells he uses and knows the inns and outs of most things.
2thumbsup thumbsup for Front End Audio

Glenn

Craigslist is a goldmine. Wish they had a universal search though. I usually pick through a few different cities in my area a few times a week. It's amazing what I find there.

No $hit, chief.

Wanna shock? Check the price on anything on their site, say, an SM7B. Watch your email for a response, and then watch your jaw drop.

These guys are the first place I check for prices. A big +1 to NSL.

Goob.

That mic is an example I pulled from the ether; I don't know if it's the best deal they have. But, $619 is list price. $349 is the minimum advertised price the manufacturer will allow. One must email or call for the actual sale price. I bet it's lower. They don't carry everything, but what they do carry is usually priced very attractively.

Now, if after having it explained three times, you still can't grasp the concept, then it's probably not the solution for you.

I've had good luck with Hollywood Pro Audio on ebay. They often put together packages of two different items from two different manufacturers to get around the map. If they carry the brand(s) you want then you can message the guy and let him know what specific 2 items to combine and he will give you a price. If you agree he will put that on ebay with the agreed upon Buy It Now price and you can pick it up.

I had a minor problem with one piece of gear that I bought (one of the led lights didn't work) and they exchanged it no problem.

Put "proaudiomgr" into ebay stores as a search term and it will bring up their store.
