Another weakest link thread

Lately I've been throwing down hard on upgrading my home project studio. I'm thinking of using some of this year's tax return on some more gear but I wanted to see what some of you think my weakest link in my signal chain might be. For simplicity I will forego my effects/comps.

I record local bands, mostly rock/indie/punk/hardcore

Ok here's the list:

DAW: DIGI002/PT LE 7.1, clocking to my ISA 428's AD/DA card
Mics: SM57's, 58's, MD 421's, 2 AKG 414b's, EV RE20, 2 AKG 451's, Beta52, SM98s
Preamps: Great River ME-1NV, Sytek MPX 4a (BB on 3&4), Focusrite ISA 428
Monitors: Event ASP8's

My Control Room and Live room are sound treated to that of a typical home project studio...not much more i can do to these rooms.

Hope this isn't too vague. Any help appreciated muchly!

That's a great setup!

I don't see any weak links. Maybe try to find a good a/d/a converter like a rosetta 800 or something like that, but i think you have all your bases covered!

On the other hand. If you do a lot of heavy guitars, try to audition the royer 121, it is very nice!
