Blue Pop-Screen

Does anyone else not use the Blue (Bluebird or Baby-Bottle) small pop screen? I just like to have my pop screen about 3 inches away and that little bugger is right on them. Any other opinions or reasoning to the design of the Blue Pop screen? Thanks!

I leave it on since it's a pain in the axe to remove. I still use a pop filter with it.
