Think my mod'ed MK219 has a problem

Hey
I was setting up my Joly modded MK219 today and realized the capsule doesn't sit vertically. It is slanted and almost touching the back of the headbasket. I'm not sure if this is how it is supposed to be but it definitely sounds a bit "off" then what it used to sound like. I'm wondering if the mounting is coming undone or something.

Any other Mk219 owners who had their mic modded by Michael Joly? Is your capsule sit straight up and done or is it a bit off axis?

This has happened to him once before. Email him and he will get with you on it.

Those capsules cant handle being slammed around by the delivering company, and they all throw stuff around as we know.

Aw shit. Is this something I can fix or do I have to send it back to him and risk the idiocy of the shipping company again.

You might want to send it back to him as I imagine that opening it up yourself might void his warranty

Hey Mike just called me back, he is in Quebec for the holidays and said that its ok for me to PM you with his cell number, so Ill do that. He will pay for shipping back and forth with immediate turnaround.
You may not get the PM if your popup blocker is enabled.

This happened to me and as a result he has changed his capsule remounting system to be more stable. He took care of mine immediately with overnight shipping each way. He will stand behind his work and I think this should not be an issue in the future.
