Hello Fellow Gearslutz,

My name is Matt Vallerini and I want to be your next superstar intern. I am an SAE Audio Engineering Institute graduate who is willing to do anything to gain experience as an audio engineer. I graduated from SAE in December of 2008 and since then have worked at Allure Studios, in Manhattan, as an engineer and assistant engineer.
I have loved music since I can remember and starting producing music myself as a teenager. This love turned into a vocation when I entered into SAE and realized I wanted to be a professional recording engineer.
I have been trained on a variety of recording consoles including a variety of SSL’s, the Sony Oxford, Mackie Digital 8 Bus, and the Yamaha 02R. I am experienced with a multitude of outboard gear ranging from compressors and gates to reverbs and EQ’s. I have stereo microphone placement experience as well as boom microphone operation experience.
I am used to the recording studio environment and understand how much hard work and dedication go into the creative process. I have worked with Grammy-winning artists as well as platinum-selling artists, towards the completion of their projects, both as the lead engineer and as the assistant engineer.
