Guitar cab: Marshall MA412 4x12 vs. Epiphone Valve Junior 1x12

Hi guys!

I'm looking for a fairly cheap cab to go with my new VHT Special 6 Ultra head, and have narrowed it down to either the Marshall MA412 4x12 for £140 or the Epiphone Valve Junior Extension cab for £100, what do you guys reckon?

The cab will mostly be used for studio recording purposes, not gigging.

If you have to go new, I'd get the Valve jr. cab. That said, I'd be looking for good used cabs with either Emminence speakers or Celestion (of the better varieties like V30s, H30s, M25s or blues).
