Thread Starter | Used Vintage 1959 Gibson ES-125TD Worth $2600?
Looking to buy a Used Vintage 1959 Gibson ES-125TD and wondering if it's worth $2600. Condition is stated on site as: Excellent Condition, Checking, dings and scratches throughout, All Original Electronics, Replaced Switch Tip, Original Case in decent shape showing lots of wear. Seen a few others on sites around and price is seems remotely fair. Appreciate any feedback/thoughts from those who are more familiar with 125s than I am and/or those who monitor vintage guitar prices more closely than I do. Thank you. |

My book says $1700. Be aware that the switch tip is worth $200 minimum so that actually makes a difference.

go on ebay and look for "completed listings" (checkbox on left side column) go on gbase and see what dealers are *asking* for similar guitars any mods (changed tuners, etc.) will affect the value drastically. (the switch tip is probably long gone, LOL!) I'll be you could get a nice one for $1400.- if you take your time |
