carvin vintage 16 reverb?

hy guys,
I have bought the carvin vintage 16 guitar amp and i read that it has a spring reverb in it...usually when you hit an amp with a spring inside it make that spring noise....mine doesn't....does that mean that carvin is lying about having a spring reverb inside the amp or what?
thanks!

I don't see on their web page where they specify it's a spring reverb, but it's not the kind of thing they could lie about. Is there a reverb pan in the bottom of the amp with a pair of wires to it? Either a.) your reverb knob is all the way down, b.) your reverb makeup tube is dead (or something else wrong), or c.) you're just not hitting it hard enough.

- It doesn't make much difference how the paint is put on as long as something has been said. Technique is just a means of arriving at a statement.
