How Can I Get This Sound?

I've been trying to get something close to this sound, anybody could tip me some pointers into which direction i should go to get something close to this guitar sound? At about 1:50 We All Together - Ozzy - YouTube

or this We All Together - Dear Sally - YouTube ( which is something very similar to the oh darling beatles guitar sound.

btw this band is an underground peruvian band from the early 70's called we all together.

Cool sounding clips but the guitar part seems like a pretty simple recipe:

Semi-hollowbody guitar (Gretsch or Rick for the Beatles) into Ge Fuzz (Fuzzface or Tonebender MkII would do it well) into decent tube amp (tweed Fender or Vox).
