Thread Starter | Fender Amercan Deluxe P-Bass Question? http://www.fender.com/products/ameri...?prodNo=019407 Does the active passive switch allow for a true passive tone on this? Does it bypass the active completely? Thanks

On my warwick it bypasses both preamp and active EQ. So when the switch is turned the EQ doesn't work. I guess it's the same on the Fender, but i'm not sure. |

We're here! FWIW, I changed the preamp on my Deluxe P-Bass to a Sadowsky preamp. It does switch between active and passive. I never use passive. I didn't respond to your question because I don't have the Fender pre. My bass is a 96, but the original Fender pre didn't switch between active and passive. DaveT |
