| Gear Head | Does anyone recognize this old capo?
Hello, I have this old capo that my former guitar teacher gave to me before he passed away. It must be old cause the plastic on it has fragmented and broken off. While it was in good condition it was a great capo that really held the tuning well. If anyone has any info on this or recognizes it, i'd love to know what brand it was or if they even make them anymore, which is unlikely. It doesn't have any markings on it to indicate a brand so all i have is a picture. Thanks for any help someone could offer! Ted |

It looks like an old Dunlop C-Clamp, although there have been a ton of manufacturers who made similar clamps over the years. I've switched over to the G7th Capos, which are really solid and easy to get on and off without damaging the guitar.
