Open Tunings

Do you have any favorite open tunings?

thanks,

Thanks for all the repies and the great website!!

I'm presently reading K. Richards book and at the part where he talks about how Open G tuning changed his whole outlook on Guitar after basically hitting a wall (Ry Cooder showed him).
He liked it so much that he had several guitars made special for his new sound (5 string Open G). He also said that most of his songs are only 3 chords.

I'm also reading the Keith Richards book right now.

There are a couple of resources I can recommend. I am a member of two guitar teaching websites, each costs around $20 per month:

Style of The Rolling Stones | Guitar Lessons

Guitar Lessons: Start It Up!

Both excellent tutorials.
