I am drooling over a PRS mccarty korina that I recently played. What's the poop on korina? I know its supposed to be kind of special. I can't get over how light it is and the type of tone it has. Acoustically its extremely resonant. it looks nice too

Korina guitars are known for a very quick attack and a very present sound, not too much bass - very good rock guitars (not heavy meta though). Typical Korina guitar is a Gibson Explorer.

| Korina is considered a type of mahogany. I don't think it's Swietenia, so it wouldn't be a true mahogany, but in many respects it's very similar.
