Diezel Einstein or ENGL powerball 2?

Hi guys! I need some help here. I got an offer for an Diezel Einstein 50w used for only 13500 NOK (norwegian kroner) ( It's about 2400 dollars), but i'm also thinking to buy an ENGL powerball 2. What would you say can give me the most out of my money? In my band we play Metal/experimantal rock, but when I'm home i play all kinds of stuff.

Thanks! Greetings from Norway!

Hey fellow Norwegian!

Never tried the Einstein, though I once had a Powerball I. I sold it... I never figured out how to get a good tone out of it. It sounded good in the room, but when it came to recording, it was a big disapointment.
My advice is to buy a second hand Mesa Dual Rectifier on FINN.NO for about 13000++, and you will never regret it!
The Peavey 5150/6505, is also a great alternative.

But hey, thats just my 2 cents

I have to disagree. I have just bought a new amp. I bought a new engl powerball 1, dont know why but it sounded much more natural then the 2nd version. Anyway the messa dual is not my cup of tea, and i dont find it versatile. You rather get a mark 5

I´d get the Einstein, it´s a great sounding amp which has a big tone recorded.
I share the Powerball Experience and recognize this with the most ENGL amps, sadly.

Thanks! I have looked at some Mesa's and a friend of mine has a Dual Rectifier as well. They sound great! I'm going to check it out. Need a little thinking and trying out of amps to decide

Enjoy the summer in Norway!
