Hi chaps! I fully understand that somewhere this question has more than likely been posted, but..... I'm looking to purchase an bass amp that requires the following: -To be used for recording/rehearsal/smallish gigs -Be pretty small and light -Be between 100w and 500w -Have flexible tone -Have a DI out -£350 is my limit (although I'm not against the idea of clawing a little more together if need be) The two contenders so far are... Orange Crush Pix CR 100 BXT 100w (£265) And Ampeg BA 115 HPT 220w (£350) Or Ampeg's PF 350 head (£294) and save for a matching cab (£350!) later???? Ps I have played the orange and been impressed for the size and money. Any experienced views would be helpful. Many thanks in advance! Neil

Thanks for the reply Fretless. I went Ampeg in the end. Got myself a S/H B100R £340. Mighty impressed so far! Great both in looks and sound! |
