| Gear nut | Recommend a decently priced Octo-Fuzz
I love that kind of grimy, "power failing" sound. I know there are tons of boutique pedals and the like, but is there any octo-fuzz that sounds awesome and is no more than $100. Thank you in advance, you magnificent bastards.

Danelectro French Toast - It's a Foxx Tone Machine clone, which is the most octave-y fuzz ever. However, it's not all that nasty and gritty. You might splurge and get a Boss FZ-5. I have one and use it more than any of my vintage fuzz pedals. It is just brilliant. And it is very nasty and gritty.
