How do I get it to work?

I've looked EVERYWHERE and can't get my head or hardware around how it works!

First off, what's the actual problem with it?

I've now had it working, the problem was simple, the connection between the pedal and amp was faulty!

Yes I have one also, and cant seem to get it configured with my old Alesis Quadraverb. I can change programs, but do nothing with the expression pedals. Any help is much appreciated!
