Wah choices

Trying to decide on a new wah. I have a morley and it takes up too much space on my pedal board. I am trying to decide between one of the teese wahs and the fulltone clyde. Versatility is very important to me.

Area51 is the most tweakable wah available.

The Teese wahs are basically a Crybaby at its best. I can't comment on the Fulltone. I use a Maestro Boomerang or Colorsound Inductorless, because I could never get the classic Vox/Crybaby wah circuit to do exactly what I needed.

However, I can add that what sounds good with my rig may sound like crap thru yours. What you should do is demo them at a local music store, or if that isn't possible order both from a reputable online seller (Musicians Friend, Sam Ash, Sweetwater, etc) and return the one you don't like.

do look at the area 51 stuff.. one wah is never enough.
get teese or fultone and a few oldies like a D'armond weeper (still pretty cheap) or a boomerang (not as cheep but way cool)
if you can DIY the older Thomas organ with the square TDK inductor goes cheap and is a great one to mod. with the Fasil reissue and a lower input resistor.

keep in mind that ANY unbufferd wah will sound different alone and with pedals in front and back of it ..changing its 'playmates' will change the sound a LOT.
