Medium sized low cost amp for deathmetal playing

I am new to playing guitar and am looking for a small to medium size amp with clean and deathmetal distortion, for decent price and with good sound. i already know my guitar works well with a line6 spyder IV well and i am wondering if there is anything better for a new guitarist with alot to learn. If you have any advice id be glad to take it.

5150 (6505 now) combo used, though they're hissy. You can get around the noise a bit with a boss ns2 or some say swapping out the first tube to a lower gain one.

Kicks ass for metal.

+1 for the 5150/6505. For metal tones, you can't beat it for the price (and it's tough to beat at any price).
