Korg SV-1 vs. Nord Stage

looks like korg is copying nord. the sv1 looks pretty damn sweet though. from the videos i saw the rhodes and wurlies are just as good as nords, plus they have a tube integrated for saturation , and the pianos seem to sound better (never liked the pianos on my nord stage 76). As for the synth section on the stage....not so great. wayyyy to clean (unless you like that kind of thing). i havent heard the synths on the korg. also, the korg has a few other interesting features, such as a "natural noise" knob or something, where, for example, you hear the sounds you would normally hear in the piano when pushing down and lifting the sustain pedal. i haven't heard the strings section the korg, but everything else sounds so great that im assuming its decent. does anybody have any experience with the korg sv-1 and the nord stage? any thoughts?

You pays your money and you takes your choice.

The Nord appears to be the better instrument from what I can tell so far.

I'd say it looks more like a contender for the Nord Piano rather than the Stage EX

Anymore thoughts on this? I haven't experienced it yet, but the Nord Stage EX still seems to be the one to beat. Especially with the recent piano updates.

The nord is a totally different animal.

Having been stung in the wallet, rather than saying "they're expensive", I'd say "they are value for money". You just get one hell of a lot for your money.

The action is a bit odd for some of the sounds, but you get the hang of it.

Bear in mind that inflation is likely to take off a fair degree, OR the pound will take a hammering. They are going to go one way in price for the next few years. Get in there soon, I reckon.
