accurate Beatles guitar book(s)?

I really enjoy learning and playing Beatles music, but for most of their songs, there are many variations in the tab to be found online. I'm looking for a book or two that is agreed by many to be an accurate transcription of what they actually committed to tape. All the riffs, chords and solos are what I'm after. Lyrics would also be good to have, but they're easy to find.

Anyone want to recommend a good book or two for this? Books with notation and tab would be best, cos I'm learning to read music.

This one The Beatles Guitar Book and this one The Beatles Guitar look promising. If you've used them, are they on point?

If you were willing to buy a couple, then I would recommend
Amazon.com: The Beatles - Complete Scores: The Beatles: Books

I'm not very fast when it comes to reading music, so it was very helpful that they have tab for the guitar and bass parts as well.

That book is amazing, but please keep in mind that the print is VERY small, so to actually sight-read the guitar music/tab, you'll probably want to photocopy the song and blow it up to readable size. Otherwise it's kind of a challenge.

EXTREMELY comprehensive though. Great book.

Wow, the Complete Scores looks really good! I'll definitely check it out, thanks.

A friend suggested going to the library and photocopying what I need. That would take care of the small print.

Up for a challenge?

This one has guitar and tab- some of it is fairly challenging as you are fingerpicking the chords and the melody- but it is a lot of fun to put together.
Start with Hey Jude- it is the easiest to get your fingers into.

Amazon.com: Fingerpicking Beatles and Expanded Edition: 30 Songs Arranged for Solo Guitar in Standard Notation and Tab: The Beatles: Books

I'm not at that skill level yet. All the more reason to give it a run. Thanks!

The-Beatles-Guitar-Techniques

The Beatles Guitar Techniques - Transcribed Solos And Excerpts - Sheet Music Plus

I'd recommend this one. Not comprehensive, but accurate and has the best bits.

It's not a book, exactly, but check out this guy:

YouTube - I Am The Walrus (Fingerstyle Guitar)

He's arranged and transcribed (notation + tab) a hefty chunk of the Beatles catalog, and a one-time fee gets you password access to all of his stuff.

If you want the absolute best way to learn Beatles songs and can't pick them out yourself, then get this video:

To A Tee Video Productions - Beatles Guitar Instructional Videos - Home

Rob is a super guy and a fanatic on playing them correctly. The videos will help you get the big picture as well.

Video is the way to learn for me now.

I can't read and my ears are shot and I've always learned by sound and
memorizing the grid sequences of the parts on the fingerboard.

Looks like something great for a dad prezzie list!
