Minimat and Iso booth?

I have a Matamp Minimat head arriving in a weeks time. The head is 4 watt and my cab is an old Marshall - which I think is about 50 watt.

I'm gonna be recording at home in my own room and of course I have housemates and neighbours on one side. So my question is: Will I even need an ISO cab?

I was thinking about purchasing an Axetrack but I'm not too sure if I should fork out the dough for something I may well regret buying. I was thinking of purchasing something like this to put in front of the cab when recording:

Any advice would be really appreciated as I feel stuck as to what to do next!

Thank you.

I used to own an axetrack & it was useless for me. I've built a large isobox from rockwool myself & it works better than any other "iso" thing I've tried.
For a 4wt amp you may or may not need an isobox, it really depends on so many things. Wait for your amp & see how loud is loud for you & than make a decision whether you need an isobox or not.
