Amp for Rhodes Mark II

I bought a Rhodes Mark II and I'm looking for a nice tube amp. Do you have any experience playing a rhodes with one of these amps:

Fender Blues Junior
Fender Super Champ XD
Fender Champion 600 2-tone

I don't want to pay more than 500 euro. Do you have any recommendations or alternatives?

I am pretty sure that you would want a more powerful amp. How is the market for used Fenders in your area? Maybe a Pro Reverb, vibrolux, or a Twin.

Fender Twin Reverb is the "go-to" amp for a lot of Rhodes players...

My personal favorite is a Laney VC30

If it's just for the studio try a Victoria 518. It's a tweed champ point to point wired solid pine cabinet. This is my fav Rhodes amp for studio.

Sorry to Hijack but I bet that sounds damn good. Have you ever messed around with a Vicky 512?

As to the original post, a Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue or Silverface would be a good option. I have a reissue for sale here on Gearslutz. You could also look into old Gibson amps. A Gibby Falcon 19 would be great for a Rhodes. Also check out old Magnatone/Airline/Supro/Valco/blah blah blah...

Really though, there are some great sounding classic amps out there that dont have the stickershock of most of the dusty old Fender/Marshall/Vox offerings.

Thanks for the replies.

I will not use it on stage or for recording (I just started playing piano so I have a long way to go). I will just use it at home for practice. I think 15 watt is more than enough. Do you have experience using a fender blues junior with a rhodes?

Sorry for dragging up an old post.

Has anyone tried using a Rhodes with Orange gear?
