Thread Starter | Rack case for Mesa Big Block 750 2U Rack.. ?
Hey, I've got a Mesa Big Block 750, which is a 2U 750Watt bass head. Standard 19" rack format, pretty deep. It has two fans at the back with vents and the front and sides (towards the front) My question is, someone told me that I'll need a rack case specifically designed for an amp, NOT an effect rack case.. what's the difference? Is there any truth behind this? |

Effects racks only have a 10-13" rail to rail depth....not nearly big enough to hold your amp. You'll need to measure the depth of your amp amp and find an amp specific rack that is large enough. I have an Odyssey 2U flight rack that holds my Crest CA6 amp....it would probably work for your Mesa as well. It's a killer rig so I was going to get something custom made (colour mostly) So... depth, that's it? Usually the first thing I'll check |
