Thread Starter | Floyd Rose setup help please...
Hi guys, Just a really quick question. I have 2 guitars with original Floyd's on them both tuned to drop C# (C#, G#, C#, F#, Bb, C#) using 9-46 gauge strings. They play great and I love the tension of the strings but I was wondering if there was anything I could do to change the tension of the trem because I'd prefer it to be a bit looser. I currently have the 3 standard springs that come with the Floyd Originals in them. If I put more or less springs in the back and adjust to tension will this change the trem response? Or are there after market springs with differing tensions I should get? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Evan. |
