Vintage Amp with weird build-in effect

OVer 10 years ago, I recorded in a studio, where there was a band in the studio next door, that had the most incredible guitar-amp I've ever seen. Sadly, at that time I had no interest in guitar-recording. So I didn't care much. ONe day I heard that band tracking an unbelievably great wierd guitarsound. It sounded like something exactly in the middle in between an Univibe-pedal, an autowha and a Small Stone. I asked their mixer, what this heavenly effect would be, and he told me it was build in that vintage amp. It was a small combo, perhaps 1x 12" or even 1x 10". Some sorta chickenheads pots on top. Any idea, what this amp could have been???
Pleaze!!...

My Polytone 102 has a really cool leslie simulator type thing that sounds kind of like what you're describing. It has 3 speakers though. A 12" and 2x 8" speakers. It's basically a tremolo on the 12" and a panner on the two 8" speakers. The speeds are controlled independently so you get this really great sounding vibrato/leslie/phase/tremolo thing. It's really unique sounding.

If that is the amp you're looking for I'd be willing to sell mine for $475. I plan on traveling a bit and need to lighten my load. PM me if you're interested.

Check for a Canadian company called Vibrato Technologies. They are solid state amps but the phase/vibrato in them is incredibly cool. They are from the end of 70's or early 80's. Damn cheap too.

SG Systems made one with an onboard Maestro phaser in the 70's. Gibson's parent co. bought Standel and this amp was the result, IIRC.

Could've been a magnatone. They have very distinct vibrato.
