Just got the new Bogner Fish reissue

I cannot believe this thing did not come with a footswitch. Its 4 channels, and I have been using the Duende footswitch which has been a pain becuase you have to keep rotating the left and right plugs everytime you want to change channels. Anyone have a solution for this?

Thanks for the info. I have to say I am very dissapointed with the Fish. I have every Bogner amd except the Ubershall, and the Fish is the one I like least. Maybe it will track well, I think I might be way to spoiled by all the killer sounds I have been getting from my Axe-FX.thumbsup

I've always wanted a Fish, but at the price they were asking for the reissue, I couldn't justify it.

I have an original Fish that belonged to Jerry Cantrell and a Triple Giant Fish prototype, which is like the 8th preamp Reinhold built after arriving in America. The Triple Giant is one the the greatest sounds I have ever heard and the fish is pretty awesome too. I ordered a Fish reissue, but mine has not arrived yet. I also own 3 XTC's, and a 1st gen. Ubershall.

I have the Hafler rebranded Triple Giant... supposedly the same as the Bogner ones (haven't compared schematics, so not sure) - it's pretty nice sounding.. though I don't like it direct except for the clean channel. What do you run yours through for best results?

sorry to wake this post up but did you get your Fish issues solved. I was surprised to hear you would choose the axe/fx.. I had one for a few days it sounded good at first but...Now the Fish kicks major ass all day.I use 2 latching pedals and its no rocket science

Yes it does dole out some creamy distortion. I tried one out a couple of weeks ago and really liked it.
Too bad no midi in for foot controller.

I have a 101b also and I would say the Ecstasy is more round and compressed. The fish is more over the top with distortion but backing off the gain you can dial in any tone really Its very versatile. If you need midi you have the triaxis.
