Ibanez JS1600 vs Music Man Axis SS vs PRS Mira

So I'm looking to invest in a premium, versatile guitar that will be my go-to axe for most of what I play. I set my budget at about $2500 max., but I have been gravitating toward guitars that fall into the $1500 range. Right now, I'm looking at the Ibanez JS1600, Music Man Axis Super Sport (or possibly the Silhouette), and the PRS Mira.

I think they all fit the bill in terms of versatility, quality, and ability, but I want to hear what other people think. I've played the Mira and Axis SS, but I haven't been able to track down a JS1600 (still working on that, though). I've been thoroughly impressed by both.

I play a pretty broad range of styles, but if I had to say what bands I generally play, it would be Wilco, The Flaming Lips, Fugazi, Queens of the Stone Age, Refused, and The Mars Volta (like I said...pretty broad). In other words, I like to go from alt-country, to hard rock, to post-hardcore, to alt-metal, to experimental.

Any thoughts on these guitars considering what I'm trying to do? Any other suggestions?

The JS plays REALLY well. Has a much different feel than the other two. I think you'd like it the best based on the bands you listed aned your need for versatility.

I know that this is an old thread that I'm resurrecting but I'm having a similar dilemma - a JS1200 vs Mira. Any input from people have played or owned both?

The ibanez JS guitars have unbelievable "spoil you to all other guitars" easy-playing necks. Whether or not that's the tone you're going for is subjective... I had an ernie ball SS for about a year and never warmed up to the feel of the neck, but played my buddy's JS (chrome boy) model for years when we were in a band together... limitless guitar... if you're doing straight up rock, I'd suggest something else, but if you can take advantage of all the features, that's a killer axe, no doubt.
