I bought a hughes and kettner product and I love it. I've never been a fan of the h&k stuff. They just don't sound right to me, but then again I love vintage stuff. Well, I don't like my students to play thru my '58 vibrolux or any of my cool gear, so I needed something cheap, small and decent for clean and dirty sounds. Yesterday, I was in a friends music store when I came across this little 1/2 rack sized amp called a Blues Master. Nobody knew what the hell it was and ,reluctantly, I was talked into trying it out. Damn it sounded pretty good, kind of a cross between SRV and the beano tone- lite. It was $200. so I bought it on the spot. For those of you who are looking for something small and rockin, I can highly recomend this. Imagine if a Tiny Terror sounded Texas cool at 1/2 the volume, that's the Blues Master. Hughes and Kettner. Who knew? |

H&K have been my favorite amp maker for over 10 years. Nothing to dislike them, as far as I'm concerned. |
