I haven't really been looking for a while as I've been really happy with my guitar setup, but we are starting a new record next Monday and I'm looking to get some new and exciting textures. I'm real big on mod and filter effects... I have plenty of overdrives and delays. Thanks!

The Electro-Harmonix HOG can generate some really cool effects that I haven't heard anywhere else, unfortunately it's kind of expensive. If you can find one (and don't already have one) you should definitely grab an E-Bow. TONS of potential for cool textures and atmospheric effects. You might have to find one used because they're non-existent at many music stores right now. Other possibilities: Roland Space Echo Boss Super Shifter or Digitech Whammy (combine these with heavy delay/reverbs for some awesome sounds) Line 6 Filter Modeler You might want to look into getting a crazy fuzz/distortion box as well; it's always nice to completely f*** up your tone every once in a while. |

adrennalin III is great for textures and beat synced efx, but works much much better if able to sync to a midi beat clock, near impossible to tap on tempo... ebow is a must for textures, wasn't aware of any issues getting them, just saw a few in my local sammy ash.. chaos pad, havn't used it, but sounds neat and hear good things from those using it any looper pedal could allow for some very neat ideas and textures |

Studio Electronics line of Modmax pedals in pretty nuts. The filter is my fav of the bunch (I have them all). The Jomox T-Resonator in another good one. |

Digitech Synth Wah and Ibanez LF-7 are great cheap pedals. The entire Line6 stombbox line can now be bought in one attractive package: the M13 Line 6 - Stompbox Modelers /megl | |
