Cab to go with Peavey 6505 : Orange, Mesa ?

This is for my bro who need a good 4x12" cab with his Peavey 6505 (5150).
Mesa is the good old standard and will work great, but isn't Orange an option to consider ?
He plays standard metal, and will need the cab for live shows and probably recordings.
Any opinions ?

Mesa's are big and nice but for some reason I just like the way Oranges and especially Bogners record better than the Mesa's. If he's got it in the budget and has a chance to play through one please give the Bogner cabs a chance.

I like Orange cabs a lot but they are WAY expensive

You may want to consider something like Avatar... they are set at a nice price point and sound phenomenal.

Thanks guys, in fact I do own a Bogner Uberkab and it's a hell of an amazing cab, but they are damn expensive here in Europe and hard to find used.
Mesa are overpriced around here, I know they are really good cabs but so "standard".
Orange are quite cheap here, and I love that warm, fat tone they deliver. I think he is going to go this way.

If possible. Take the head to a local shop and try different cabs. Dont rule out Peavey cabs either. I have a 5150 cab and a XXX cab and both sound great in their own way.
