alternative to Marshall EL84 20/20 poweramp

hi

My marshall EL84 20/20 power amp recently "died" due to an anomaly on the pcb board, for some reason the wiring started burning on the pcb board and it got damaged inside (pics). All the tubes were "ok", but it is now no longer usable with the sound it produces. When the amp is being powered ON, the wiring on the pcb board is slowly burning like a cigarette. As it is no longer under warranty, i dont know how much it would cost me to get it repaired, as the damage seems to be pretty important.

So i'm looking for an advice to get another , similar and rackable power amp with 8ohm speaker signal level output (i use it with Palmer PGA-04 speaker sim) and i record only in studio.

any recommendations would be welcome, thanks

Yikes! Looks bad. Don't breath the fumes.

I can't help with repairs, but I do have a mint condition 9100 (50 watts per side, dual mono block) that I could sell you as a replacement. If you're interested, PM me and we'll come to an arrangement.

But i have managed to get the EL84 20/20 to be repaired under warranty. it's a matter of time though.. the local electronic workshop opens up from vacations at the begining of sept, they have to pass the order to marshall, uk and have the spare part to be shipped then they gonna replace it.. hopefully ill get my marshall working back by.. mid of september.. doh

i have to manage recording with this lame sounding software emulated shit now..
