| PDP BOA kick pedals Hiya! I had a young drummer in yesterday who brought this new pedal by PDP called a 'B.O.A.' I'd never seen one... no springs, really customizable, sleek, streamlined... cool stuff. Also, totally silent action. So I play it and am freakin' blown away. I was told by the drummer that it takes some getting used to, because the pedal kinda stays glues to your foot and will come back from the drum really quick... but that's what I always wanted. I was able to do triplets with one foot like nothing, and doing the double bass stuff was much easier than with my old Iron Cobra. Anyone else played one? I think I am sold on this thing... I'm going to try out some more pedals like Axis and DW series, but this was so easy to play...

| the pedal is unbelievable, my only complaint that it's pretty large which can make transport in a hardware bag slightly difficult, but the action is undeniable. i'm not completely sold on the beater though, time will tell. |

| It's not big... what other pedals have you used? My iron cobra is pretty much the same size. It's just my opinion tho, maybe you want something smaller. I think the drummer I recorded also used beaters from another pedal. I honestly would be able to play whatever type of beater was there I think with action like that! I'm not really picky. The beater he had was the standard felt and plastic beater. He didnt have the weird new thing PDP has in the video on their website.

| the pedal itself is normal size, but the base is significantly wider than most pedals. |
