I haven't had time to do a clip, but OH MY does the Reeves 225 do CLEAN with my '93 Strat Plus w/ Golds I mean Pink Floydian Gong Note CLEAN! Wow! Even without reverb, the depth of the notes is stunning.

| I've got one with a ToneTubby that I've upgraded the recifiers and caps in and it's brilliant. The simplicity of the single ended triode circuit point to point with no tone controls is extremely transparent but you can only play it clean at very low volume. The overdrive is gorgeous though.

Best clean I ever heard is by far the Mesa Boogie Lonestar, and that amp continues by be like the 'holy gail' of cleans by which all others are judged.... second is the Roland JC-120. everyone has to have a JC in their arsenal.
