Thread Starter | Three Saddle Bridges for Telecaster Style Guitars
I am considering going from a six saddle to a three saddle bridge unit on my Telecasters. At this point I've identified a few possible sources: a dude named Dale in Texas, the Wilkinson bridge, the Callahan, and of course you can always use a Fender part. Have any folks out there have any experience in changing over to these parts? By the way, my guitar body and neck is a G&L ASAT with Bare Knuckle Black Guard pickups. |

I used Seymour Duncan Antiquity Brass Saddles on both of these guitars and they work great. Seymour Duncan Antiquity 50s Brass Saddles for Telecaster I remember the price being way lower though a few years ago, I'm sure you'll find a better deal....

Yes Callaham are great do yourself a favour and get the Callaham bridge plate too - Caution! Make sure you double check teh bridge width. The 3 saddle setups are specifically for vintage tray-style bridges. These are narrowe than the modern style. Check with Callaham if they will fit (Measure your 6 saddle setup string spacing width from low E to high E and email it to him).
