my new favorite pic

I found one of these picks and it immediately became my favorite pic i have ever used. It has some sort of grittiness to it and it just feels good. I have used a couple other "gritty" picks but I felt like they were digging into my fingers in a not so good way. anyway. I love them.

Yes, the "Cool" picks. I use them now as well. I never really had problems with dropping my pick (unlike a lot of other players it seems), but have had issues with the pick moving around in my grip, especially when I'm workin' and sweatin'. I've tried a bunch of others with some kind of grip or texture on them, also ones with holes in the center, etc. None of them worked for me- often the texture or grip was more of an annoyance than anything, plus a lot of them didn't sound good. I always went back to the basic Fender 351 shape and faux tortoise material. But these Cool picks, I agree they really feel great! And while some of the other textured picks didn't sound good, these are fairly close to the 351 style, just maybe not as bright/clear- but close.

Only thing that sucks is they wear down super fast- in one of my bands I'm playing a lot of funky guitar with fast strumming, and one pick will only last 2 or 3 shows. Plus they're kind of expensive IMO, and can be hard to find on the road.
