Fishman Power Bridge vs. LR Baggs X-Bridge vs.???

has anyone compared the Fishman Power Bridge and the LR Baggs X-Bridge (and any others)? I recent;y played the power bridge and it was pretty nice.

I'm thinking of building a guitar and I would like to put one of these acoustic-ish bridges on it . . . even though I HATE having to deal w/ on-board batteries, I like combining the magnetic and piezo pups

I have an X-Bridge in a Strat and it's passive -- no need for batteries.

REALLY! How does it sound? Can you blend w/ the magnetic pups?

The best way to set it up is with a stereo jack and use 2 amps. I have a dedicated volume control for the piezos, so blending is a matter of dialing it in. Sound quality will depend on the amp setup you use for the piezos. For more realistic acoustic sounds you'll need a full range acoustic amp. Piezo+magnetics will not sound very good together in one 'normal' guitar amp -- a dedicated amp for each is the key.
