To help you a bit on the way: Andy Sneap was the guy behind the recording of Killswitch engange and did a helluva job

Maybe this will help you a bit on the way:

Not sure about the recording gear involved. I do know they used Framus heads and I remember something about Bogner Uberschalls being used on The End of Heartache album. Andy Sneap mixed and mastered the records. The guitar player Adam actually recorded all the albums. I think they where done at Zing studios where he is an engineer. Zing Recording Studios

Hope that helps.

They use Caparison Guitars w/ EMG 85s in the bridge. The End of Heartache was 2 tracks of Framus and 2 tracks of 5150.

Hey Guys I talked to Adam via email a while back regarding the second to last cd - the tone is this - triple rectifer with mesa cab - EMG 85 - that is the important part - not an 81 - uuse the maxon overdriver - turn down the gain on it crank the ouput to 80 % keep the tone down to 0 as well - this is the tone - just use a 57 angled and a 421 and adust and blend - Pre amp wont really matter that much - NEve type like a great river would be good -but you could use API or anything solid
